Over the years it has become clear to me that success is different for everyone. I know some people might not even agree with this statement but what I now know for sure is that success is not about having the right contacts, being smarter, having a better education, being younger, or older, growing up in the right family, or even knowing the right people. (Yes, all these things do come in handy when they are needed but the truth is they are not what makes you successful.)
Success to me is really about starting with what you already have and learning skills to make what you have great! My philosophy is that God has given us everything that we need to be successful. All we have to do is shift our perspective ever so slightly to see the #gift that is our life.
I believe that every hardship is a preparation for something big. When I was going through it, I obviously could not see the benefit of my struggles, hence the saying hindsight is 20/20. Every heartache is also a preparation for a bigger grander relationship. Our pain is meant to be the fuel that propels us to greatness. Our pain clarifies our desire and makes the Universe know that we really do want a transformation.
Do not waste your pain and suffering; they are precious gifts that the Creator has given us to move us into our destiny. Use your pain to source you. Use your pain to push you forward. use your pain to find out what you want from life and God will answer your prayer.
If I had given up I would not be here today. If I had given up my children would not have a mother, If I had given up I would be dead. Start praising God for choosing you as one of His warriors. You are a hero. You are strong. You gave up yourself and suffered so that you can bless others. The world is waiting on you. We are waiting on you. Rise up and shine! It is your time.
